That’s a great question. The way I think about it is that business by default cares about result such as more sales or more users. “ Growth hacker” as a discipline is also very result-driven. This can add pressure to the individual, but in general is good because you have a clear goal. With that, you also want to use a scientific approach to A/B testing your ideas, have very clear hypothesis and carefully construct your experiment, so that when it work or not, you know why and can learn from it. That’s the best part about “growth” discipline, you are learning more about the method, your customers, your product, all through your experiment.
